Parent Support for Childhood Anxiety, ADHD and ARFID
Dr. Barb offers SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) training to parents of children experiencing anxiety and/or Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID). SPACE is an evidence-based, parent-focused approach that empowers caregivers with practical strategies to reduce family accommodation, respond more effectively to their child’s anxiety, and support greater independence and confidence. These sessions provide parents with guidance, tools, and support to help their children navigate challenging emotions and behaviors while fostering positive change within the family. In addition, Dr. Barb also offers parent coaching for families of children with ADHD, providing practical strategies and individualized support to help parents navigate behavioral challenges, strengthen communication, and support their child’s executive functioning and overall development. All sessions are offered virtually and are available to families residing in PSYPACT-participating states, as well as Florida, New York, and New Jersey.
